St Boniface RC Primary School

One who does good

School Uniform

We wear our uniform with pride at St Boniface; we think its important for children to represent their school well by looking neat and tidy at all times.

To help any lost items find their way back to your child - please label all items of uniform, including shoes and hats. It is also helpful to label school bags, PE bags, water bottles and lunchboxes. There is a box for lost property in the playground.

There are many label choices, but please consider Stikins labels.   Our Stikins school fundraising number is 19023. Please add this to your order and the school will be sent money back for school trips. No sewing or ironing needed.

September until Easter - Winter uniform is worn.

After Easter until end of Academic year - Summer uniform is worn.

Winter coats - either the St Boniface school coat from School Uniform Direct (SUD) OR a plain black, grey or red coat.

PE uniform – for boys and girls, needed all year:

  • White logo T-shirt – from School Uniform Direct
  • Red school shorts
  • A black tracksuit for cold weather – no logos/brands please.  If you have the red Nursery sweatshirt, your child is welcome to wear this as part of their PE tracksuit into Reception and KS1.
  • Dark Trainers/Plimsolls

Jewellery:
Girls may wear one pair of studs only.
All pupils may wear a watch (no sound effects please)
St Boniface School takes no responsibility for any jewellery lost/damaged at school.

School bags: our cloakrooms have limited space. For this reason we ask that:

Reception to Year 2 -   only bring flat, red book bags from SUD.
Year 3 to 6 - bring their red School backpack.
PE kit bags are used for all year groups, except Nursery. Please ensure these are labelled on the outside of the PE bag.

Nursery - no uniform. Children can wear their own clothes or purchase the red St Boniface Nursery sweatshirt (optional).  This sweatshirt can then be worn as part of their PE tracksuit into Reception and KS1.

Blazer - optional until Year 6. Year 6 pupils are expected to wear their School Blazers at all times.

The Friends of St Boniface help sell 'nearly new' second hand uniform donated or swapped by parents.  The uniform is on sale at most coffee mornings or you can email stbonifacefosb@gmail.com for help.    Logo items, pink dresses and PE kit only (no grey or white items).  Donations gratefully accepted.
