Bonjour!  Parlez-vous francais?

At St Boniface school we celebrate our cultural and linguistic differences.  As part of our enrichment programme, we offer children the opportunity to learn French from Year 1 through to Year 6.

Lessons are tailored for the needs of each year group so that learning is fun, interactive and covers the four key skills:  speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Children are taught key phrases and vocabulary on a variety of topics such as:  family, school, clothes, weather and food.  This sets a good foundation for budding linguists wishing to continue with French at secondary school.

Our Enrichment fund donations ensure the children have a French speaker teaching them for their classes.
